KAL 007

After reading the book 'Avenged' written by A.R.Chandler i felt that some thing is terribly wrong with the story of KAL 007. That book gives an insight into the events that lead to the tragic death of 269 innocent people when the Korean Airlines flight they were traveling was shot down by a Soviet Fighter Jet in 1983. I couldn't accept the explanation by Soviet Govt that their pilot misjudged this commercial airliner as an enemy fighter jet.
